KABOOM! Went the starting gun. Everyone shot like cheetahs. I focused on the finish line even though I could hear everybody screaming.I was beaming when I found out I came third.

Today is the day I run my fastest or maybe not I heard them say run and I came second but when it came to the finals Riley came first Reuben came second and Jacob came third and I came for lunch.

Kaboom kabam!!!!!!!!!!!!!! out went the runners swish everyone was as fast as a bullet. I could hear my parents cheering. I came second in the race my pace was as fast as a roket. it was so much fun I came first in high jump and that was becuse i was taller
then everyone. in long jump ther were so meany rules but it was still fun.

At athletics day, when my name got called out, i rushed up to the starting line as my arms flew back and forth, when the gun went bang i shot of like a bullet tawords the finish line, my friends were catching up but i was in luck, i came first place, then i went up to the table, where the techer was writing the places down, i told her my name, then i walked down the side, while watching the other races, i saw my friend zoom past everyone, i kept going till i reached my ropu and sat down.Go kakariki!!!!!!

It looks like the smoky gun giving a signal BOOM!!! To run. Smells like the smoky gun powder. It feels like the wavy grass swaying side by side well the runners run to the finsh line. It sonds like crouds cherring. It felt like the right day for Athletics day.
