Today Rm 12 learned about ngā Atua. We drew pictures of the gods and their environments. We then learned about Ngā Takiwa Kare a Roto: The Zones of Regulation, which is the different levels of our emotions. Tangaroa, god of the sea, is in the blue zone, where we are low energy. Tane, the god of the forest, is in the green zone, where we are ready to go. Tawhirimatea, the god of the wind, is high energy, in the yellow zone. Tumatauenga, the god of war, is in the red zone- high energy. We will continue learning about our feelings and how we manage ourselves as we work together.
